Securing a few bills, or even a credit-card is the easy part. What to do with a key-fob, or securing items left on-shore is the challenge.

Canada and many other places use the plastic bills developed in Australia now. They can be slippery and difficult to count but I like them overall. Immune to even long term salt water immersion, just tuck it in the wetsuit or something. Modern car keys are the trickier problem but my ride uses the old mechanical locks, I just clip the key ring to my harness like any other kit.

So I shouldn't be wrapping my cash in bundles with plastic wrap and duct tape?

If you put in the middle of some flour or sugar and make brick shapes, it makes for really easy stacking and organizing!
