New product on the market...Ideas anyone? Secures the mask to the tank.

I just got done on a dive in the gulf and two guys on my boat had a new product...it is called "viz secure" or "vis secure". I think I found the makers of the product but they are a manufacturer. Anyone ever use this product. It secures the mask to the tank so you can't lose the mask. One guy had a data mask and the other guy had a "curvature" mask. Anyone ever dive this product and can comment?

I seen it last fall just a lanyard, I guess coast surf, but once on face usually holds good.
