i know that, but hong is still viewed as hong kong and seperate to china as far as vacations go.

anyway apparently he is not going to hong kong now but beijing and i didn't want to be a guinee pig for buying a digital there.

but i got it for £950 which is £100 more expensive than the US.

the lenses however are a different thing they are nearly half the price.
