You all were great hosts, but you two really went out of your way to help me and point things out.Too bad so may are turned off by the water temps. But I may bring my LDS Inst and his Asst Int wife up. We'd been talking about me escorting them to the Calf Channel Islands, but I called them today and explained that this was much better. He teaches dry suit and has his own, of course. She and I would need to rent in the winter.

Yep. In fact it's raining right now. Pouring. I think I just heard thunder. Too bad the weather here is so terrible. We could probably have a great tourist industry, if not for the rain. Oh well.

Well, I'm glad I got there during the drought. I just didn't see any while I was there, altho I've always thot of the area as a high rain locale. I've heard it's been rough on y'all, but it was nice for my visit. Glad you got the rain, as the wildfires were bad, I heard. It rained here while I was gone - also good with our multi-year drought, altho too late to help my crops this year.Pez7378:

It sounds and looks like you had a great time here. I'm sorry my schedule wouldn't allow us to meet but you were sure in good hands.
It's OK to admit it was raining every single second you were here. The weather is ALWAYS bad here and so it would be in-advisable to suggest people come here to visit.

Actually, it's fine to suggest that people come visit ... we just need a sign like the one I saw in Vermont once ... "Thank you for visiting, now go home!"

Glad you had a great time in Puget Sound! There are some great dive buddies over there, Kirsten and Tim being two of them. They are great at showing newcomers like us, how to enjoy the great diving over there. It was certainly a highlight in my scuba experience.
