my lds want 85$s for books. what do they usually go for?

If that's the book, plus the log-book, plus the tables plus the video, plus the certification envelope it looks about the right price, which is fixed for anyone.
 
I paid £35 which is approx $53 for my Open Water Crew pack (including Tables, Log starter pages, certificate, etc
but saying that my instructor doesnt make a profit on them, he sells them at cost
£30 for my Advanced
£30 for my Rescue
£55 for my Divemaster (about 85$)

thinking of picking up an Instructor manual for my divemaster/further training, as its recommended (obviously) but it retails for £140 which is about $225, i hope my instructor can get it a bit cheaper! lol
