A friend of mine had a "comfort zip" put in his semi dry. He loved it. He would just cruise along, unzip, release his tackle, and pee freely.

Azza has hit the mark once again. I noticed on the Aquaflite wetsuit site that a relief zipper was a $19.95 option. That's pretty cheap not to smell like you're one of those people with 80 cats in your house.
If I was diving with strangers, I would have to be circumspect since they might think I was aborting the dive and pulling out my safety sausage.

I would, but at my age incontinence takes care of that problem.
My problem is getting the Depends to fit inside the wet suit. That's why I just bought a dry suit. It's a lot easier to fit in the Depends.

Yeah sure it,s funny .But seriously......I know there is dry-suits available with pee valves . But what about wet-suits..I,m a new diver and still using rented skins or dive shop loaners. So you can imagine my reaction when our instructor suggested we shound pee if we have to ..YIKES STRIPES ..Im goin to buy my own suit soon. Any suggestions.. I live in Montreal and it can get cold ,still I plan to do mostly warm water dives.

There are 2 types of divers....those that pee in their wetsuit and those who lie...old joke.
Seriously, I've read that holding your bladder at depth makes you more prone to DC, so if ya gotta go, you'd better go. Hey, it good for your health.
