I work with Nicolle and her classes are FUN! And she is incredibly thorough and skilled at teaching divers. Her past students have nothing but good things to say about her. She puts people instantly at ease, is always smiling, yet retains professionalism all the way. :applse:

So although I'm a bit biased, you might want to consider her as your instructor!

I took open water and advanced open water from Under Water Works in Tigard. Dave Ishmael is super thorough and a great instructor. His divemasters are also top notch. Their web site is a bit out of date, but their instruction is not.

A couple of posts above mentioned Nicolle Pratt and Pacific Northwest Scuba. I just finished Rescue Diver and Peak Performance Buoyancy with Nicolle and had a great time. As mentioned above Nicolle is thorough and her classes are at the same time fun. There is no sliding on requirements. I made more trips across Battleground lake "saving" Nicolle than I care to remember. PNW Scuba can be found at:

You can't go wrong with either training source.:) :)

Francis,

If you don't mind driving a little south I can highly recommend Scuba Outfitters in Salem. John and his staff are great and have group dives planned every month to keep you diving. You can check them out at scuba-outfitters.com
