At this moment the water is 27C at the surface. 25C at 15m.

Edit: 29C in the bays, 27C at 15m today. Visibility is varying, depending on the amount of barracudas.

This was overturned, and a public outcry to the system has been slowly begun to be changed and actual instructors with LOTS of experience are being put in place to advise.

This accidental slaying of Malta and its diving legal system.

Firstly a bit of background about me, I have a PADI open water certification with 10 dives, plus two try dives, so very much a novice. The deepest I've dived is 18m.

I've heard that Malta is a great place to dive and I was looking for recommendations on the best diving locations over there and also the best companies to use as there are so many. I was planning on visiting in the last week of August.

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions, so many good options it's going to be hard to choose. Another question now, my partner will be working for some of the time, so we'll be staying in a hotel. Where would be a good base? I'm assuming most companies would do hotel pick up. I've heard Sliema is good?
