I service my own regs at my LDS... I didn't see an option for that so I didn't vote.

One other thing about him....he told me with my AL Titan LX, not have it rebuilt the first year, but rather the second. Told me to save some money!

I own one of these regs and am a certified AL tech. FYI, it is my impression that you must have this reg serviced every year in order to keep the warranty valid. Since AL will provide the rebuild kit free of charge as long as the annual servicing is maintained, it won't be long before it will cost you more to have missed that first service, than to have just paid for the techs time and maintained your service schedule.

I do my own service, but I owned a shop for six years and I have been trained to do so. I am also a service tech instructor.
