Most regs run an intermediate pressure of 150ish psi
ambient pressure at 300 FSW is 133 PSI, thats pushing it.

Jim Bowden took SP regs to 925' in the cave Zacaton in Mexico over 10 yrs ago. Apeks were used past 1,000' recently.

Yes I am serious, and yes at the same time. In fact, his deepest penetration at that depth is over 4 miles back. He does dives at this level fairly routinely.

Please bear in mind that helium is not nearly as hard to push as more dense "air type" mixtures. At those depths, the mix is about 10% oxygen and about 90% helium.

As has been noted, much deeper dives have been done on similar gear.
