Snorkeling Philippines in March

And how is snorkeling in Donsol apart from whale shark-spotting? Presumably, a sighting is not guaranteed...

Nothing in the ocean is guaranteed - but I think that Donsol in season is as close as you get to a guaranteed whale-shark encounter. I'll be headed there myself in late March.

here's a question for PPD readers: Has anyone been to Donsol in March/April and failed to see a whale shark?

I'm not sure if there's much snorkeling of value beyond whale sharks. (There are some Manta dives but SCUBA is required)

I would recomend Davao and General Santos / Sarangani bay for a part of your trip!
