thanks for the help guys, but im back from the red sea now, ill keep them in mind for the next trip, which will hopefully be in 3 months or so , had a ball this time, seen some great stuff,a green turtle and a large feather tailed ray and then some dolphins at the surface
 
Why not do your AOW and do the wreck as part of it - nitrox can count as one of the the dives. If you work out the cost of two days diving plus equipment hire the AOW course is only a few euros more and you wont have any problems and are virtually ensured a private guide on the wreck.

The other popular wreck is the Dunraven which is also over 20m deep at the bottom although you could do it as an adventure dive.
