Too funny!
for those who missed it, we had a great dive last night, water is so clear you could roll over at 50' and see the hunters moon... we saw a sailfin in 6' of water immediately upon descent so had a feeling it was 'gonna be good'. visited numerous octo dens (some full, some empty, some still on eggies) for about 50 min, then Kees and I did valve drill practice for another 7 or 8 min, hit the surface at a pleasant 1:03... (love me some heated vest!) i learned something last night, the OLED screen of the UEMIS makes watching my depth on HIS computer very easy

about 6 people showed up, the early risers headed out, well, early, and 4 of us took to the water together. It was a good dive, i was feeling a bit tired before getting in, but upon seeing the surprise of the octo nest i was rejuvenated
It was great to finally meet (in person, though I swear i've met him before in a past life or something) Ben (airsix) who drove a couple hundred miles for some dives this weekend and was worried that he'd have a hard time finding people to dive with in the evenings... HAH! noooo problem finding buddies!
vis is simply awesome now, as far as lights can shine... get out and enjoy it!!!

Sorry I missed last night's dive, but I was beat and it was good to have an early night.

I can possibly do 5:30-6pm but 7pm meet causes me to miss the 8:55 ferry which quite frankly puts me into rediculous territory on school nights and pisses off the wife. The reality is that I'm probably done or very close to done "practicing" for 2010 anyway. If you want to go do some wreck dives in the lake or lobster shack or a slew of other dives we can do some "midwater skills" on real dives.

Richard, I don't like the 7 pm start time, either; in fact, I was going to talk to Laura about whether offering a "first dive" like the MMM folks do would be stepping on her toes. Getting home at 11 is a late night for us.
offer away, these fins dont mind being stepped on, i'm just happy to see people out DIVING!!!!!

If a 4:00 dive was offered, I'd probably make it down. Like Bob, the alarm clock prevents me from making later dives.
