US divers using metric?

even US instructor can understand a SPG in bar, i tried it.

Annoyingly enough, the red zone starts 500/33 bar for the big American lungs, but starts at 750/50 bar for the tiny Japanese lungs.

In one of those weird chance things, I have had far more SPGs get stuck at 300-500 psi, than I have at similarly low metric pressures, which have all failed for me at 90bar (1400 psi) . Even the gauges seem to get tired out with having to think through the covernsions.
 
One thing's for sure, I never see Kev doing anything other than a)ranting on SB about metric or b) telling everyone about his 'hero' dives in Truk.

I guess it's time to close this thread because it'll turn into a flamewar again...
