I used rockets during the 70' and part of the 80's when Mrs.AD gave my a pair of plana avanti's for my birthday, been using them since. The rockets have been sitting on a rack downstairs since the late 80's. They're probably still them same.

So I should find some of those split fins that turn into shoes back on land? Saw a guy with those the other day -- I thought his fins were both snapped at first.
The fins you saw are Omega Amphibian Flip Fins and they're awesome.
If you get a chance, give em a try. They'll change the way you think about fins.
