charges $295 US, for Basic O/W (PADI) and that is the book, class, pool, equipment (except M/F/S) wetsuit for the O/W and fees at the Hole.

Specialties run about $150-180, but if you buy them in multiples (I did) they run $99 each in lots of two or more.

Some friends and me are taking the new Padi Dsat course they put three courses in one for 650.00. Advanced nitrox, deco procedures and entry level trimix.

Anybody have thoughts about that course. Is it any better than the rest of the Padi stuff? Or would IANTD be a better choice if it's available?

are you sure that PADI is teaching trimix? The tec course looks like nitrox up to 165ft. Nothing about trimix on their web site/course description.

Padi is DEFINITELY coming out with a TRIMIX course. It will be available soon. Not on the website yet, and I dont think the manuals have been printed yet. Its in the beginning phases of introduction...

Stay tuned... (kinda scary if you ask me)
