I went diving with Notso_Ken last summer and he changed out of his swimsuit into his jeans by hiding under his towel. Well, thought I, if he can do it, so can I. But I had a smallish towel.

I got the top down and bra-d up and t-shirted. Then tried to pull down the (one piece) suit... all under the towel. Well. Ken was totally a gentleman and turned away the whole time... but I dropped my towel. First the rear- which was overlooking the entry/exits from Gilboa- thank God for tree cover! Then, in my shock, I grabbed at that part of the towel to cover my rear... and dropped the front. Thank God for car cover (cars on both sides and no one- I think- looking across the way).

I no longer use the towel technique.

Yeah, does anybody know of a sports bra made of polypro or microfiber? As I requested that my male buddies avert their eyes yesterday so I could pull off my sopping wet shirt (wrist seal problems) it occurred to me that a nice sports bra would avoid the problem. But they're all cotton, which is not a good fabric to have on when you get wet.

A nice black bra and panty set that looks like a bathing suit would give me a lot of clothes-changing options for sites with no facilities!
There are lots of sports bras made from wicking fibers available. Under Armour makes several, as do Nike and most other big brands. Check a sproting goods store and you should find one pretty easy. If, like me, you prefer to shop via the net, check out http://www.title9.com and http://www.athleta.com.

Patagonia makes some great stuff for rock climbing that works well under drysuits as well (shorts and tops type stuff).

I've seen lots that are various microfibers/wicking, that don't have cotton. Champion as suggested. Or look for Moving Comfort, their stuff is nice. My links for places that sell activewear that I've used or had recommended, most have a big assortment.

Title9 has a store in Seattle. So does Roadrunner. I would love to go to a Title9 store sometime but they're all on the left coast, and I never think of it when I'm out there.

I love it! :D

What about the one piece women's swimsuit made by Danskin. Walmarts usually carry them. Might not work for you though if you need support.

I'd buy the OPI diver's line! :rofl3: Laughing with you not at you! You'all were so creative with those names!:rofl3::rofl3:

Lynne, could you wear a bathing suit under your drysuit just in case your seals leak again? Just wear the bathing suit instead of your regular underwear I mean, and then the t-shirt or whatever over top of that. Seems to me bathing suits dry pretty fast. At least the ones I wear do.

Are drysuit divers allowed to be dorks, by the way  I don't know the rules, somebody fill me in !

MeiLing - thanks! The nailpolish names were a lot of fun.

I got a couple for you. Of course, mine are lame by comparison!

it is actually easy once you get used to it. i do it all the time (even with a sarong). very convenient. you get out of your wetsuit, squeeze extra water out of ur hair, wrap urself with a towel, get rid of your swimsuit, put on the dry ones.

can change from anything to anything anywhere.

MeiLing c'mon, those are good!

I quite often do a diagonal line of small clear rhinestones on the big toes over red (I'm-Not-Really-A-Waitress) polish to resemble a dive flag. Wish I had a pic to show you ladies. I did this on myself before I went to the Bahamas in May and every woman on the boat wanted it. Everything was still intact 2 months later, though the polish was growing out.
