I'm curious what the average ages of the people who post here are. I've seen 14 year olds, and then people who are 70 years young.

A young 41

A very grey 48.... my hair started going grey at the age of 21 when I first married my wife. The longer I hung around her, the greyer it got! Nearly white now, and not 50 yet!

Polish proverb- 40 is old age of youth, 6o is youth of old age.

Started diving in the mid 1960`s, took 3 and a half decades off,
but couldn`t stay away! Got certified OW last year, Nitrox and
drysuit this year. B/P & Wing, 95lb LP Steel, Vytec and Drysuit.
Another 20-30 dives and I`ll take a rescue class and AOW.

I'm 19. Started diving when I was 11. I received my NAUI TA at 16, Divemaster at 18 and Instructor at later 18.

Does anyone know the average age of scuba divers in the US?

I think this would be interesting. I know PADI has a lot of statistics on their pro site so I am go there and see what they think (although that is the world according to PADI)
