DM Mike,

It what I love to do on the weekends. Where else can you haul gear, chase students, put gear away after a pool class, and still smile.........:D

I live next to the Chesapeake Bay. Calinectes sapidus (Blue Crab) is one of my favorite symbols of the Bay. Tasty too!

Lack of imagination.

Short for "Flennerdog", a nickname hung on me when I worked full time as a photojournalist.

All the best, James Flenner

Rick Murchison chose it for me.

My other addiction is long distance hiking. In 2003 I hiked 2,180 miles from Georgia to Maine on the Appalachain Trail. My "trail name" was Footslogger. I gave it to myself after doing considerable research. It is a term that dates back to medevil times and was used to describe the foot soldier or infantryman. I'm an old paratrooper/infantryman and the name seemed to fit.

Most of my trail family just call me 'Slogger
