How do you inflate the DAN SMB? :lotsalove:

Just got one in prep for my first boat diving trip without an instructor.

There is a valve which I can manualy inflate but it appears that I can take the lp hose from my BCD power inflator and use it to inflate..is that accurate?

It also seems that the bottom is open and looks like if I slide my reg or octo into it and use the purge valve that will inflate it...yes?

Doing a pool dive in a couple weeks to refresh skills before my trip, figured a few answers would save me some time.....

sincerely
Sinbad...there are no stupid questions, just inquisitive idiots....the diver. :shakehead:

Cool! I gotta learn how to do that.

There is usually a valve for oral inflation once on the surface and also a hole in the bottom to inflate underwater. You can use your octo in some of them but I strongly recommend you invest in an inflator whip. Its easier and safer.
