Just wonderning what everyone uses in the line of zipper lube on their drysuit. I have a ONeal Poseidon

McNett's Max Wax

Easy application, doesn't gunk up the threads, and easy to clean.

When I took the DrySuit coure, the instructor told us that the best lube for the zipper was candle wax.
Also, when I did the checkout, the DM had several pieces of candle to lube the zippers.
Not expensive easy available in every kiosk.

What some posters put here I would stay away from. DO NOT USE SILICONE BASED WAX. Silicone and aquaseal/cotol/glue don't mix very well, and once the silicone is applied, it's pretty tough to clean it off and prep it for the glue.
If you ever have to get your zipper or suit repaired it may be an issue.
I use McNett Zip-Tech
Zip Tech? Semi-Solid Zipper Lubricant

Depends on what type of silicone it is.
Ive asked DUI and they said that the McNett silicone spray I'm using is OK .. you can use food grade silicone as it's 100% soluble in water .. Look at the products MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) to see if it is
(BTW they had no trouble replacing my suits zipper, was not due to anything I did to it, was a rental suit and when I got it, I could NOT move the zipper at all .. which points to the importance of taking care of it so you wont have to replace it)

+1 Zip Tech wax

Forget all the expensive fancy stuff. Good old simple beeswax with nothing added in it. Buy from a specialist wood finishing shop. Comes in a hard block (not a tin). Does not degrade suit fabric and does not pick up dirt. I used it for years.
