This is where I will be posting all of my dive videos that I make. Make sure to watch them in 720P HD. I use a GoPro HD with Blurfix flat lens, and CY filter. My name is Mickey and I live in Jupiter, Florida and I try to go diving as often as I can, usually every weekend. I will post my videos Newest first, since they have improved quite a lot. I am also including the dates, this is kind of like a cool little dive log for me. I will also be updating this thread every couple of weeks or so with new videos. Nice videoes. For videoes in nightdives and wreckdiving i dark waters you also need torches with flood reflectors ( wide angle beam)

this is definitely true. I've used a few of my buddy's nicer lights (LEDS) and the difference is incredible. I'm trying to figure out how to make a nice mount or tray for my GoPro with arms and lights and everything.

I like to film in 720P because I can slow down the footage or speed it up and it will not be impaired, also when uploading to website's like vimeo only allow you to upload 720P videos. To be honest the footage looks the same in 720P or 1080P, its hard to tell a difference. I use the red filter because I usually dive 60 - 90 feet. Once you hit about 30 feet or so your going to want a red filter to bring back some color into your footage.

Ya I love diving here in Jupiter. It's drift diving so you can cover about 3 miles on one dive!

I have yet to go diving in Ft Lauderdale, If you come out to Jupiter you will not be disappointed. Try to come within the next few weeks since the Goliath grouper are here right now in the 100's. They are spawning / aggregating so right now its like swimming through schools of huge groupers!
