Up until recently I haven't had any issues with my IQ-700. For some reason it is not letting me download when I connect it to my PC.

Whenever I connect the cable to my dive computer, it automatically switches into "dive mode." I've tried putting it into "PC mode" before connecting the cable, and I've tried "time mode" before connecting...but no matter what mode it is in, it switches to "dive mode" immediately after getting a good connection with my PC cable. Occasionally it will even switch into "dive mode" if I lightly touch the water sensors at the same time with one finger.

I haven't noticed any issues while diving or in any other circumstances...just when I try to download!

I can't find a direct (United States) customer/tech support phone number so I've sent a "contact us" message from TUSA.com, but I still haven't heard back from them...

Any suggestions??!

HI-
Sorry for the delayed reply and to hear of your issue. So, from your statements it seems that you have been able to download before?
Verify that the USB driver is installed and your PC recognizes the cable when plugged in, make sure the computer contacts are clean and dry, the computer should be in PC mode in order to transfer data, open DiveLogbook or PCLogbook, click Tool and transfer/download data. The LED on the cradle should flicker green during the transfer, the dives should be shown in your log.
Here are some IQ-700 cradle and installation guidelines which may help, download the pdf file here.
The contacts on the IQ-700 are for communication and to sense moisture for water activation. They should not do anything unless wet when pressed, so if the computer is not functioning correctly, we suggest sending it in for evaluation. To do this please contact customer service below.
If problems persist, please email scuba@tusa.com or call 800-482-2282.

Thanks Tusa!
I haven't had download issues in the past. It just recently started doing this. I believe it is a contacts issue since it switches into dive mode (like it has sensed water) everytime when the download cable is put onto the contacts (whether it is connected to my PC or not). Other than downloads, it is still operating well! I will call the tech support to see what they suggest!
Thanks again for the reply!
