Sean222,
when is the yard sale going to be re-scheduled?
They have some great stuff and i could use soem tanks.

Update
The planned yardsale at the former OSS has been canceled.

I ended up going down there Saturday before I saw this post.... doh!

Definitely keep us posted if it is rescheduled.

FYI, Conanicut Marine bought the air system from OSS and is installing it in their Narragansett Ave. store, so there will be airfills in Jamestown.

No right to a speedy trial in Tortola ? Boy is this thing dragging on.

In fairness it was only around mid-February that he was actually handed over to them by the U.S. government so it has only been a few months.

Wonder what they will do with the remaining inventory. I have to imagine they'll sell it at some point.

I also wonder what will happen to the property. A building with a pool next to some of the busiest dive sites in New England. It would be a shame if it someone else doesn't open a dive shop there when the property is eventually sold.

It is good to know that the Marina is keeping the fill station in Jamestown though.

I just got off the phone with them and they are not ready yet to fill tanks. Most likely within a month.

If the allegations are true(and I'm not saying they are), the main reason he hasn't received a speedy trial is that he tried to make a murder look like a diving accident in 1999. Thereby delaying/complicating the investigation and prosecution of the alleged crime. BTW, it's quite routine in MA that defendants wait for years in jail held w/o bail until they finally are brought to trial.
