So is it a bad thing that I have 500 green, red and white LED lights flashing on my kit? I thought it looked really cool.

I once saw a woman doing a night dive with, literally, a bandolier of glo-sticks slung from left shoulder to right hip.

You sure could see her well underwater.

I thought sure that he'd have an octo to provide a back-up for the AirII!

well, at times i have thought I could be a CTD, because i always have whatever anyone forgot, but after looking at the picture I have no concerns.

The more stuff you have hanging off of you the more interesting and intelligent you look.

Christmas Tree Diver ...

If you own at least one of everything on the McNett/Cetacea rack at your local dive shop, you MIGHT be a Christmas Tree Diver.

If you routinely carry gear on every dive that you've never used, you MIGHT be a Christmas Tree Diver.

If it dangles and jangles when you walk, you MIGHT be a Christmas Tree Diver.

If your motivation for purchasing a piece of gear is to avoid having to learn a skill, you MIGHT be a Christmas Tree Diver.

If you buy a new BCD because your old one doesn't have enough D-rings ... you MIGHT be a Christmas Tree Diver.

Good post.
You'll see number 5 discussed on this forum quite often.
