If it was that easy I would be out of a job! You can learn a lot from watching educational material about diving, but nothing can or will replace the actual 'Doing,' and that is where I come in.

What do I really have to know? Breathing is natural. I know that the tank has to be on, that the second stage regulator goes on the tank, and that the first first stage regulator is what goes in my mouth (well, at least when I am diving)... Just kick with your feet and enjoy it. :)

Probably a joke, but don't get me started on public healthcare, pal. Canada ranks 6th among 191 UN nations for life expectancy, as opposed to 35th for the US. But be consoled - you beat out Mexico (48th), meaning that you rank as 2 out of 3 in North America.

Interesting, did you know the UN includes Military deaths and injuries when they rank health care! LOL so if we all sit at home we would be and are #1, even with all the SCUBA deaths, now that is saying something! Besides you can come to America like most of the Canadians to get medical treatment fast!

You have most of it right there; the rest is: don't hold your breath, never come up faster than your slowest bubble

Those are the instructions I was given many years ago and I am still here

Go forth and dive, enjoy.

I think the guy has some serious beginner questions and in an age of Video Games and CG anything is possible, so why not media driven basic education? So many movies today portray reality and true life situations I can see someone getting excite about a life aquatic! And what better place to learn than in you own room? He sounds like he just needs guiding and inspiration and what better place to get it but here with all these diving heroes????

No papa bear. Read his profile and the list of his previous posts (2 threads total). He is just wasting his time playing the retard and his posts belong in the pub not in the new diver sub forum. This is supposed to be a serious section for real new divers asking real questions.

I'm pretty surprised this thread wasn't locked or trashed when he jumped from TV lessons to spare air. What's going to happen when someone trolls this place with an ounce of subtlety?
