So I got BP/w and for doubles no problem.

Just got single wing (HOG) and have SS DiveRite BP and cam bands.

How do I properly weave cam straps through the BP?

I first tried to go from outer slot to inner and back trough inner and out on outer then around the tank, but didn't work well. For pool run then I just used the inner slots and seems ok, but not sure if I am doing it properly.

I suggest a STA. That way, when you rig your doubles, you won't have to remove and re-rig your cam bands. YMMV

I figured out that BP is actually Sea Elite BP.

I don't mind cam bands as I have to change wing anyhow when changing singles to doubles and other way around.

I really can't help you without a photograph. None of my backplates (Oxycheq, OMS, DSS) has more than one set of slots.

I'd use an STA, moves the tank and therefore first stage further away from the back of your head

It would make sense that outer slots are for independent doubles.

I don't want to use STA as it has little to no benefits as HOG 32lb wing has built in groove to keep tank stable.

With long enough straps you could do the weaving you first tried, as long as the slots in the wing would cooperate. There would be a section of cam strap across the ridge in the plate that would keep the wing in place and provide a nice slightly compressible surface for the tank to ride on. You'd need really wide slots (more like openings like you'd find in the dive rite travel wing) in the wing, or have to cut another set of slots. This is exactly how the old jet harness plates were set up for single tanks.

The conventional way is to just use the inner slots on the plate, and bolts to hold the wing in place.

Thanks!

My first try didn't work out not because of the length of the straps (they were bit on the short side bit it would have worked) but the tank was getting shifted towards the right side when I tried to fasten.

So I did the conventional way it seems and it worked for me. I don't have bolts. They might be handy for changing the tanks so wing stays fixed to the BP. I might go grab a couple. I hope Lowe's has them.
