6" fake meg with a number written in the back found at 18' near the blocks? Who is droping these? Did I win a contest from a LDS or something.....lol. I keep getting upload errors on the pics?

any ideas on how to get the brown junk out?

Soak in a mix of water and white vinegar to dissolve/loosen the deposits, then scrub with a stiff bristle brush. Nut or dental picks work well for stubborn spots.

Fossilebabe has posted on this thread the methods she uses to clean fossils. (Go to post #249 - I don't know how to quote a particular post.)

I thought she said her website links also had suggestions for cleaning and deodorizing...
 
The brown stuff is part of the tooth
 
u sure fbabe because i can pull it out with a dental pick it looks like hard mud junk but i guess ill stop messing with it if thats part of the tooth...its just one got it from a beach dive off casperson.
