Why is it so hard to find someone to dive with.

Weekend is free thus far for those interested in the NW OH quarries. I'm up for Sat. or Sunday.
I hear Toledo SubMariners are doing their Pumpkin Carving at WS Sunday but don't have a preference.
Put a good group from here together last weekend. Hope to do same this week!
Ryan.

Sunday - 11 or 12 :idk:

I did my AOW at Gilboa. I must say that I don't miss the thermocline but compared to hidden paradise (we used to call it mudhole or even worse) and some others, the visibility was always really good. Does anybody know if the Eli Lilly club still exist?

These were 2 very good dives. Considering there were lots of students in earlier, the visability was 18 to 22 feet in Gilboa. We started shortly after noon. I was pleasantly surprised at the viz. Made my first trip to the tubes and the water much colder there..at 61 feet the temp was 54 to 57 degrees. I found the thermocline to be at 40 feet. Thanks for the opportunity to dive with you folks.

Portage at noon works for me.
Their website claims 50 to 70 ft vis. Is that for real?

I'm not aware of a Lilly club. I worked there for over 20 years and just recently left the company. In my entire time there, I never heard a thing about a scuba club. I did dive with quite a few colleagues, but there is not an organized club that I'm aware of.

My buddy and I will be at Whitestar tomorrow morning if anyone would like to dive with us. We should be there between 10:30 and 11 am. Looking for the green VW bus.

Not when I've been there. More like 5 - 7.

When I was at White Star last weekend, I'd say 20' on Saturday, down a little lower, say 10-15 on Sunday.
