Curious if the OP ever actually got some dive buddies? Anyone know?

Well, I am starting to dive for the third season with a dive bud I made from this post.

This poor guy even endured my company for a week in Coz in 2011.

We dived in Gilboa(where else). Water 42 degrees. Maybe 46 at surface.

Viz was 30 feet. One of the catfish is not looking well.

Got to see another bud I know from Natural Springs.

And got to converse with CamG about cave country.

Not a bad day. Ready for warmer water though.

Plenty of people to dive with, even if you're not 18, and good lookin. :)
You just have to find them closer to home...were you at Ohio Scuba Fest in March?
Get on some dive clubs mailing lists. I have had more than a few charters fall through because the club couldn't get enough divers together...they would have taken most anyone to fill the seats and make it happen.
