Flights to Cozumel

Hello, was wondering if anyone noticed a huge price increase in flights to cozumel.

We went in Feb this year and flew from Kansas and spent $365 a person for round trip flight.

Pricing it up again and it is now $675 each??

I understand prices going up some but that is a huge price increase in a matter of 5 months. Anyone else noticing this in their area? if so where are you locateD?

DC flights aren't good. I have given up and just assume we are going through Cancun.

This May AA was $640 pp (purchased Nov 2011) from Huntsville, AL. Just checked for next Feb - now $1040. Also looking at Cancun with AirTran.

Check flights tonight. I just snagged a $160 discount ATL - CZM from what I have been seeing For months. Leaving 6-11.

Also on the news tonight they said airlines are going to start charging extra for window and aisle seat. 25.00 each way
IMO they need to be regulated this is going to far.

Want to sit by your wife pay extra
Want to sit by your child pay extra
You family members get stuck sitting by a creep alone ( TO BAD ) you should have paid extra

Charging to use the restroom coming this fall

It is getting way out of hand!!! I've noticed a sudden surge for mid-June reservations - so there MUST be some cheap or at least reasonable flights out there! Good luck and thanks to all of you that come down anyway!

The answer clearly is: Stay LONGER and average the cost down per vacay day!
