I completed the optional dives for both "Eclipse Diver" and Nitrox ... I'm no slacker

We did do a predive briefing to learn more about the eclipse, the path, and history associated with them... but there wasn't an exam :D
Where is the c card to prove it ? :)

Drop down shortly before the full eclipse, within a few minutes, your day dive becomes a night dive becomes a day dive again :)

Did they sign off 3 dives in your log book? I see another great opportunity: "3-4-1 diver" card.

Someone open to diving in advanced water I presume?

-- That's nothing, my official work title was at one point "standardized" to "Information Systems Development Services Senior". Which in human language must mean "the Old Guy in IT", as I can't possibly be systems, services, or information.

English "noun phrase".

Well, and what's your opinon about this one ?

PSAI Narcosis Management

It's my personal favourite. :D

"PSAI is the only agency offering Narcosis Management® training down to 240 feet (73 meters). It is taught in seven different depth levels, allowing the diver choice of training depth. This Narcosis Management® course is taught on air, to better prepare divers for Trimix diving which requires the use of the less forgiving helium based gases."

French certify OW divers to 60 m so 5 of those 7 levels are not exactly outrageous. I'm sure there are "tolerable" O2 exposure times at 67 and 73 m, hopefully long enough to get narced and learn something.

What I find interesting is they have an office in Kiev UA. I grew up there, I have hard time figuring out where one can find a diveable 73-meter deep body of water in that entire country.

Indeed, French Niveau 3 (3rd level) are certified to dive to 60 m on air, I'm one of them. I can confirm some people did dive below 60m on air, some of my former instructors did so until a few years ago...

But really, diving deep on air is not always the wisest thing do, and below 60 and pretending you'll LEARN to MANAGE narcosis ? Come on... How can any nowadays agency can pretend that ?

Just for the record, I don't bash deep air divers, I'm one, on a regular basis.
