Don't underestimate the value of that short gas flow path.
I did 180 in Truk with an Atomic ST1, never gave the reg a thought but 86° water and not really having to do any work moving leisurely probably made a big difference.
 
I’ve heard a rumor that the D420 will be paired with a mk19. Only way to get the 19 in the US

That's like asking me whether I love my son more, or my daughter...
Apples and oranges. Two great regs.
The Jetstream has the advantage of time. The D420 remains a marketing question, and Scubapro is so opaque about their ops.
Still, when it comes to the Jetstream, there are lovers and haters (except among deep divers), and (OMG!!!) it's an upstream valve! I'm gonna die! :rofl3:
