WHAT EVER YOU DO DON'T USE THIS THOUGH THE ELECTRICAL GUYS WILL UNDERSTAND HAHA

About 10 with a DM as company rather than supervisor. About 10 just with my buddy.

My advice would be to just go diving and having fun. No need to race through certs.
I'd rather dive with an open water diver whose comfortable in the water and can manage him/herself because they dive frequently than a DM whose been racing through certs and has little real world experience.

Does this actually simplify the calculation for anyone? I feel like basic algebra and the ability to rearrange an equation is not too much to ask.

I hate when I see 33. Meters Vs Feet. Even though it is as simple as to divide or multiply by 3. I know that you guys are the kings of the world but why can’t you use metrics like the rest of the world :) ?

It is a joke. Don’t take it in the first degree.

We should be so lucky that using 33 was the dumbest thing our country did this week. If you would like I’ll rewrite that for ya in proper units.

Just to be clear, while I use our antiquated units, I prefer SI units and would never defend our units.

I prefer the triangle method to this equation, because that equation does not work for most of my diving--and it makes a difference.

Where I dive, I would need to use 34, not 33. I would have to use 0.83, not 1. For MOD, it generally makes a difference of about 10 feet/3 meters.

dividing by 10 in sea water is easier than 33. what do you do when in fresh water ? is dividing by 10.2 any easier than 34 ?

My objection isn’t to the numbers that are plugged in (chose whatever is appropriate) my objection is to using some made up math as opposed to standard algebraic syntax.
