Flooding only happens when a person opens the case underwater it is operator error. You can also open the sea life underwater and flood it. Silly reason.
Congratulations, I am a year into my diving adventure and like you, set out to improve my skills so far so good, each dive is a chance to learn and get better, oh and have some fun. I am much more equipped to be a better diver a better buddy and enjoy it more. Keep learning and keep having fun.
Mine was the first time I encountered a strong underwater current at the wreck of the Rhone. I was swimming from the bow back up and to the dinghy when I stopped to take a picture and was pushed backward. Not remarkable just a surprise.
I have a zeegle express with octo deluxe strap packavery good condition I will sell. I don't use it since I got a SeaHawk and use it all the time let me know if you are interested
So really the question is this, do you value the LDS and the advise you get, the "Showroom" being able to see before you buy. Oh and let's not forget they need to eat and pay bills too. So unless you are one of those who think no one should make money then profit is OK. My LDS never charges me...
Midge907 what a narrow minded LDS GEEEZZ I am also into photography and shooting and there are those who's opinion of the equipment they own being the "ONLY the BEST ..." Crack me up we are all different. We like different things I get what I think I will like and will work well he'll I don't...
Why would anyone use rocks and sticks when they have modern technology. Dive tables are going the way of the rotary dial phone. Know the history embrace the future.
OK I did buy the SeaHawk in June and have 8 dives on it and it fits well no shore problems it works well so iike it, and am happy with the decision. Thanks for all the comments. Merry Christmas
I bought Scuba Pro Seahawk. MK25/G260, and Uwatec computer, I also have a back up Sunto Zoop computer, OH I got the Air 2 on the BC for the other thread going on about air 2. I am not one bit dissatisfied with the choice. I did however wait until I was certified and talked to several people...
I rented everything except the usual mask fins and snorkel during the class. After the class I took a few months to research and asked a lot of questions. Then I bought my kit. So far no regrets I did my classes a tear ago and bought my gear in June. I have used it all summer and don't think I...
I did a dive recently with a instabuddy. We talked about what we wanted to do how we would do it and where we would go. We got into the water and he went off in an entirely different direction. It was up to me to keep him in sight and stay with him. Not fun, I am a new diver only 15 dives since...
I just bought this set of regs and from the start it honks when breathing out of the water. In the water it does not. My LDS said use it awhile if it doesn't go away we can service it. Well hell it is brand new just completed my fourth dive on it. What is the issue is this normal?:(
I am a newly certified OW diver. During the course I spent time reading asking questions and studying not only diving but gear. Soon after I was certified I bought everything including a tank. It did allow me to get out and dive. I probably would not have if I had to rent, so I agree with that...
