I've gone nude diving several times off the FL Keys! The easiest way is to charter a boat with fellow divers who are at least nude tolerant! Summer is best and easy dives without alot of current are best. Anyway, I've been and have the pics to prove it!:D

I think this falls under the "don't knock it till you've tried it" category. I've tried it and loved it! Sure you can get stung in unusual places. After 4 dives and on a wreck dive I did bump my appendage against some fire coral. It stung for a few and then all was good! You do learn respect...

I used to really suck the air out, but I've gotten better. Much of it boyance control and using your lungs to controll descent/ascent. I also breath in long slow beaths and then breath and breath out long slow breaths, when swimming level. Relaxing and using effecient kicks helps too. I've...

Went diving off the FL Keys, except for when I went lobster hunting I wore a suit suit with clips that I took off underwater and then went bare. Have pics to prove it! ;) When wearing my swim suit prefer nothing as I usually have to pee.

I bought a Timex helix at Walmart for about $20. It has depth, temp, dive chon. and the usual timer, chon. and time. It says 50M and I've only been about 60 feet, but it worked fine.

84 and a 5 mil? 84 and I'm naked. Don't see how people can dive with anything more than a swim suit in 84+, but then that's me. Course there are those like, Lynne Cox, who swam the Berring Straits in just a bathing suit and cap! Not me - I almost froze swimming a tri. in a shorty-Farmer John...

Yea, she actually likes to swim around and we free dive in the pool. She especially likes to do hand stands, so she likes the water. I'm sure hoping I can get her to do it again and things will go better. I'd sure like to have a handy dive buddy! Thanks for the advice and suggestions! Roger

I went diving off Miami and saw a lot of warm water wussies. Could not believe it. I thought I was plenty warm with just a speedo on (and once took that off) and these other divers were wearing full suits! The swimmer I admire most is Lyn Cox who swam the Bering Straits without a wetsuit...

Would you be interested in diving in the Keys this Aug. 4-6? My daughter, her husband, and I are staying at Key West at the NAS (your stay would be free), and I've charted a boat with captain for a full day of diving on the 4th for $83 for 4 tanks! Roger
