    Fish ID help

It's gonna be tough for anyone to ID for certain without seeing the entire fish......that being said, Turbot's and Sole's have their buggy little eyes on top, Flounders do not. Kim

    Nudi pics and ID Q

Unfortunately, no one paid attention to my post except that I didn't bother to notice that the lemon wasn't a lemon, of course I was paying more attention to the little nudi that Robert asked to be id'd which as I stated before is Aeolidia Papillosa. Sorry you've been sitting here still...

Hi Robert, the white nudi next to your lemon looks a lot like a Papillosa, specifically Aeolidia papillosa.... if you have the original and can email it to me I'll take a closer look. Beautiful Hilton's by the way... Kim

So, what are the conditions there Rick, I'm still completely open this Sunday, then oh lets see next Friday and Sat I don't have plans..... Nick, how about you, you open any of those days, of course given conditions warrant a nice little dive in Laguna?? Come on boys, can't keep a dive...

    San Diego dive charter locations

I'm pretty sure they are all Mission Bay, which frankly is easier. The docks in San Diego Harbor are all scattered all over the place and can be tricky to find.

    Terror on my 12th dive

Nick, for what its worth, the answer to your problem has already been answered. I know that it is risky in your mind right now, but, Rick is one of the most solid buddies I have ever gone diving with. There is no agenda other than taking it in. He is always right there even when I've stopped...

Wrinkles November '07 Dive Planning Thread - Catalina Island

That's the saddest thing I've read in months. John, get this man in the water before he shrivels up and blows away in the wind. Have a great time this weekend. Kim

LaJolla Shores Friday night Dive 11/9 @ 7pm

went out yesterday morning at the shores, vis is still stellar, and with no surf should continue to be so. Are you planning to hit the reefs or canyon from the Marine Room? I was considering a canyon rim dive from there on Sunday. The ambient light with the vis we've been having should be...

La Jolla: What a Difference A Year Makes

Yes, Dr. Bill, the topography has changed tremendously, but I don't think the variety or abundance of life has changed. There were a couple months there Jan and Feb, were it was quite noticeable that the topography change had certainly disrupted some of the local denizens living quarters...

Hey Missy, I got a pic for you this morning, I've sent this to verify they are indeed Cumanous Eggs. The description I've been sent of them fits to a T and these are the only eggs out there I had never seen before the Cumanotus arrived. You almost always see them near each other, a lot...

Wrinkles September '07 Dive Planning Thread - La Jolla

Thanks Missy, thats what I was thinking but you know what happens when we assume. The Cumanotus are difficult to pick out with their coloring and almost always being in the sand in the middle of no where. I only saw one on Saturday, by chance, as I passed an area of their eggs. Kim

Aeris atmos 2 stuck in CAL/CSM and diag mode

I've had an Atmos 2 and an XR2 both display the ALT to me and not stop, it is bad electronics, and they had to be returned to the manufacturer. It is not your altitude. Kim

Wrinkles September '07 Dive Planning Thread - La Jolla

Sort of sad when you have to hate others for having a good time, I've personally never seen anything offensive occur at a gathering when children were present, most of the divers that attend these gatherings have families and are very aware and respectful when families are in attendance, but...
