Or go to one of the dive shop garage sales and buy one of the really old light cannisters. Two 7 Ah batteries can be had for under $40. Rig it up and leave it with the 70 bottle (support can move it ;) ). I just setup mine using my first cannister which will provide heat for over 3 hours.

The tumblers are now sold through PSI the cylinder inspection training company.
The demo unit they had at DEMA was much improved from prototypes.

Pliers cause too much damage with so little surface area. Try using soft jawed vise and pull straight - you can get more surface area contact with the sides of the spool. I have had pretty good success.
Another option is putting the metal connector of the PG in the vise and tapping the end...
I placed an order a couple of weeks ago with the Ushio in the US using the following phone number: 1 800 838 7446

By we, I meant NEDU personnel.
A previous XO encouraged us to post on this and other boards without requiring review of information posted (he had the NEDU forum created). Our current XO does not share this...
This thread contains too much missinterpretation to be easily corrected.

If you check in at the quarterdeck, feel free to drop by Bldg 300 Rm 204 (x3316) and we can chuckle over this thread.
This is the most entertaining misread of the Navy Diving Manual that has ever been brought to my attention.

Who do we send payment to (and how)? and are the payments for shipping seperate from the payments for the retainers (different individuals)?

I have been attempting to contact RTO Manufacturing about the Tank tumbler that they displayed at DEMA.
Their website is: http://www.rtomfg.com/ which unfortunately does not contain any contact information or links.
I picked up their flyer and business card at DEMA which contained an email...

When I became a tech I bought a bar style torque wrench. After over 10 years, I now have 4 different torque wrenches with different ranges and applications. I have a 5th arriving sometime this week for really low torque applications (10 inlb).
Most of the other techs who worked at the same...
The small O-ring on the stem (A-version) is not to be lubricated, as it not only seals but keeps the adjustment from changing when the knob is rotated. Clean the O-ring well (or replace) and reassemble with clean hands.

Greetings,
A couple of us from the east cost will be traveling to Seattle for business, and would like to get in some diving prior to our meetings.
What are some good shore sites to dive for the uninitiated?
Are there any well recommended charter boats running out of Seattle?
Thanks...
