I see next to your avatar that are an instructor, what kind of question is what is with your snorkle? A snorkle is standard dive gear isn't it? I must admit I don't use it very often, but it is still standard dive gear. Don't you teach your students to use a snorkle?:mooner:
 
I don't think he's in a cave. It looks like one of the springs down here where it's perfectly acceptible to wear a snorkel.
