Are Atomic regs really that much better ?

Maybe @Wookie knows. Was before my time with Atomic, but I've only been servicing them since 2016.

Both of mine that failed were from 1996. I was kind of an early adopter.
 
So by 2009 they should have worked that out? My ST1 serial number put it at 2009
And my Atomic M1's were serviced in early 2021
