Yes I took the plunge!!. The full monty, with housing, 45 degree finder, dome port for 7-14mm lens, port and gear for the 12-50mm and 60mm macro, tray, handles, etc. I should be picking it up from Reef tomorrow except for the 12-50 port which will arrive next week, but they are loaning me a macro port for my panaleica 45mm macro to use in the meantime. They are really great at REEF, can't say enough.

Maiden voyage will be at the big BHB party this saturday!.

just remember bring LOTS and LOTS of quarters!!!!! either portal usually runs $1.50/hr for the meters and meters only -- don't park in the hotel parking at Datura unless you are staying there since they will tow. I won't be able to join you all for the diving since i work during the day - but maybe dinner is possible since would like to meet you all --

Thursday was nice, Friday was better. Probably in the 20-25 foot range on the viz with blue water.
Did not dive the weekend. Temps holding in the 83 degree range.

I went today. My buddy cancelled on me so it was another [-]solo[/-] self-reliant dive. Viz was a crappy 10-15 ft, with lots of particulate. And water temps are down! I was freezing around two hours and had to get out. My computer said 81. Time to pull on the 5mm! But still a beautiful dive with 3 huge southern rays circling me all at once, a spotted eagle ray just-out-of-photo range, plus the usual cast of characters.

Since I had the time I drove up a little early and visited the Loggerhead Marine Center in Juno Beach. I highly recommend it!! All of the turtles on exhibit will be released back into the wild, so in spite of some of the horrific injuries it is still a happy place. It's straight up A1A, maybe 15 minutes.

LMC is a wonderful resource for human education as well as turtle health and rehabilitation. We usually go by Loggerhead going to BHB and returning home. We make a point of taking all the grandchildren when they visit. Thanks to JET for mentioning Juno Beach and Loggerhead Marine Center. It is located in Loggerhead Park which is across the street from Loggerhead Shopping Center. All in all--a Loggerhead place to be!! The place fronts on US1 and the back side is on A1A.
