Cannon Xl1-s

I have a Cannon xl1-s that is practicly brand new. Gates makes a nice housing if you have 4,000$ to spend. I was wondering if anyone was selling a housing for this camera or if anyone had any suggestions that dident coast as much as the gates model? I also have a Sony DCR-HC85E, would it be smarter to look for a housing for this camera insted? The price differental is much better but would the video quality be a huge difference?

You might check and see if anyone has a rental unit that they would be willing to sell.

ya iv ben looking at a lot of used housings but no one seems to want to let them go that easely.
