I own Hollis F1s and F2s.
F1s for drysuit and technical diving.
F2s for carry-on travel.
For a travel fin, I like the F2s a lot.
Light weight and short enough for TSA carry-on rules.
Big foot pocket so I can wear my expedition booties.
I own another brand of popular travel fin, but I slightly prefer the Hollis F2s.
I didn't like them at first.
If you're used to a full blade heavy fin you'll be put off by their lack of resistance.
It took a few dives to get over the feeling they're under-powered.
I use them locally in So Cal occasionally with a 7mm and 18 lbs of lead, and they don't fail to get me where I need to go.
Used them on two dives just last weekend.
Maybe not a fin for everybody, but I like them.
Must be the case because I picked them up extremely cheap at a scuba swap meet!
