I might not be an expert on knives Evil, but between my kitchen, workshop, junk drawer, toolbox, pocket, tackle box, and dive gear I've got more than 30 of them, and not a single one was designed to kill, souly or otherwise. They're all tools... some for cutting steak, some for chopping onions, some for opening boxes, some for scoring linoleum, some for trimming plastic parts, some for carving wood, and some, like my dive knife, for cutting rope and monofilament. The closest any of my knives come to acting like a weapon is when I use one for shucking scallops, and that knife is four inches long with a rounded tip.evilbacon:But from what i know about knives (which is alot) is that they were designed souly to kill. Yes of course they can be used as other tools, but their main purpose is to protect ones self.
