MikeS,
I just got a BARE ATM Light drysuit last month. I would like to add some cold water drysuit gloves to this rig - can I use the DC gloves?

Can they be 'home' installed by me? I have latex seals on my ATR suit.

The DC ring system can be installed on any latex or neoprene seals. You can even keep the seals intact so in the event of a glove failure, your suit doesn't get flooded.

They can be installed at home with a little bit of muscle and patience. It requires turning the arm inside out and muscling some o-rings into place, but it is quite easy.

Your questions should probably be answered by someone with more experience. I just got my first dry suit and have never used dry gloves. Ordering them was a “leap of faith” based on the recommendations from this and similar threads. If they don’t work, I’m going to go urinate in the bilge of the PUG II.:D

There is a good description with installation instructions including pictures at http://www.divingconcepts.com/dryglove.htm. An the guys at COVCI http://www.covci.com/contact.htm were extremely helpful.

So has anyone dove both styles of DC gloves? If so, which would you chose?
