DA Aquamaster:
Well technnically calves drink milk and bovines in general could be construed as drinking milk when they are young, but "cows" is a term generally reserved for mature bovines (including the sub catagories of heifers, bulls and steers) and mature female bovines will not generally tolerate other mature bovines drinking milk.

From dictionary.com:
http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=cow

cow
n.
1. The mature female of cattle of the genus Bos.
2. The mature female of other large animals, such as whales, elephants, or moose.
3. A domesticated bovine of either sex or any age.

I'll draw your attention to description number 3. And also according to my 2 year old, a cow is a cow is a cow.

Cheers,
Bill.

as a complete aside, i had a bull calf named after me (Andy-Ro); he was like
1/4 descendant from some 100% pure-bred sire and his mom was a natural daughter
(not artificially inseminated) of the 1999 US champion or something.

they sold the little bull for almost $10 k (i didn't get a penny)

i'm trying to remember the breed... it's something like charleis, charlays

The Kraken:
Oh, by the way, the two teats to the rear are the ones that give chocolate milk.
Only if it is a brown cow.

Ok, here's a good riddle, what can you put into a barrell, that you can see with the naked eye, that will make it lighter?
