Sounds a little chilly to me.. think I'll stick with the 70 and 80 degree water temps here in Florida....

How about you take that flight to Monterey, CA and jump in my open water classes tommorrow at 54 degrees F. 80 degrees F are you kidden? That's the temp of my 90 gallon bowfront reef tank !!!

I know, I know... sometimes we even hit 90 surface temps in the gulf...

You can always come visit and go diving! :D
 
Warnberg, I'm in the Tampa area also. Where are you doing your class dives?
 
Just got my OW in May and I'm going for the AOW in a couple of weeks. We've got some great places to dive down here and others close by. Keep me posted and maybe we can help each other explore some new spots.
