Fishing on the Bay Islands

Greetings-
I'm a diver and my husband is a fly-fisherman. Can anyone give me specifics or resources about fly fishing for bonefish or permit on Utila, Roatan, or Guanaja? He's especially interested in unguided fishing, in other words staying some where for a week or two where he can walk or kayak to flats and fish to his heart's content.
