Ok Fingers crossed:
Clown Angler- Puerta Galera, Philippines.

I haven't seen a red and white one. We also know that as a Frogfish.

CJ's once bubbled...
Ok Fingers crossed:

Never seen one with those colors. In fact though we do have them here on Guam, the only ones I have seen have been black. It's almost impossible to get a good photo of a black frog fish on white sand

Rooster, I know what you mean. It's almost as if they are a black-hole that sucks all the light out of your strobes!
I don't know any way around it I'm afraid.

Dee, I think it depends on where you are at the time as to what to call them! Here in Cayman I would call it a frogfish but all the ID books in the Philippines call them Anglerfish! Same fish just different jargon! Besides, I thought that Clown Anglerfish was a very appropriate name for this little guy!

CJ.

He looks more clown-like than frog-like. In fact, I think they should be called Grumpy Old Men!
