I'm a Fish!
My old computer is the Air Z Nitrox with ZH-L8 ADT algorithm and my new computer is the Galileo SOL with ZH-L8 ADT MB PMG.

Are these two the same algorithm if I have the SOL on MB 0?

I was thinking of using the Air Z as a backup and it makes sense only if they are the same algorithm, I carry both on me for the dives and I don't violate either.

Sir Rhone Man's sticky post in the computer forum should be of great benefit on this topic...

Thanks, that is an interesting article, but does not get to the issue I have a question about. Mainly, are the two algorithms for the Uwatec's the same? The only difference I can see from the specs is that the SOL can adjust the MB level and use PMG. So at MB 0(zero) and not using PMG, are they the same algorithm or are there differences that are not accounted for in just saying it is ZH-L8 ADT?
